At Maxxis, the 3C tread is formed from 3 different rubber compounds in one piece and is not subsequently assembled from two strips. Therefore, the treads can be shaped exactly according to the requirements of the respective tire model and the driving characteristics can be optimized.

The freeride variant of Maxxis 3C blends. More grip and traction than the 3C MaxxSpeed ​​compound, with less rolling resistance and longer durability than 3C MaxxGrip. The ideal enduro and freeride mixture because it combines good rolling resistance uphill with great grip on the descent.

EXO Protection

This extremely cut and abrasion resistant material protects the sidewall of various MTB tires from Maxxis. It is very densely woven, light and very flexible. This means that the performance of the tires remains convincingly good.

Tubeless Ready Tubeless

Tires have many advantages: you can drive with less air pressure. This gives you better traction and reduces rolling resistance. And where there is no hose, the risk of breakdown also decreases. Maxxis TR tires are better prepared for mounting with sealing milk than other "tubeless ready" tires. The bead of the Maxxis TR tires is completely covered with a rubber layer like a real UST tubeless tire. This means that tubeless mounting is successful on all rims with standard dimensions when they are first inflated and with little liquid.

Wide Trail Casing (WT):

This construction optimizes the tread layout and the shape of the tires on today's wider rims. Traditional tires are developed for narrower rims and are given a too angular shape on wider rims and therefore not exactly optimal performance. WT tires are optimized for an inner rim width of 35 mm, but work perfectly on all rims with an inner dimension of 30 - 40 mm. Applies to tires with a width from 2.4 ".
